As we approach our business goals, we aim to become the employer of choice.About the OpportunityAs Field Service Advisor for ELGi Portable Compressors, you responsible for providing technical support to channel partners and end users of ELGi Portable Compressors, processing warranty claims, and assisting in the operations of ELGi Portable Compressors.As Field Service Advisor for ELGi Portable Compressors, you will:
  • Technical Support
  • Provide technical service support via phone, email and on-site visits.
  • Warranty Processing
  • Process warranty claims following established procedures and parameters.
  • Operations Assistance
  • Diagnose and repair inventory/customer units and perform technical tests.
  • Documentation and Reporting
  • Track cases in Saleforce and document service procedures and repetitive failures.
  • Assembly and Logistics
  • Assist in the assumbly of compressors and loading/unloading trucks as needed
  • Stakeholder Communication
  • Maintain clear communication with internal and external stakeholders
About YouThe Field Service Advisor role may be a match for you if you have the following qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent; 4+ years' related experience; or equivalent combination of education/training and experience
  • Diesel mechanic associate degree or certificate preferred
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) software, and OEM diagnostic software
  • Technical proficiency with diesel-driven construction equipment, specifically air compressors
  • Ability to read wiring, hydraulic, and pneumatic schematics and diagrams
  • Solid understanding of J1939 Protocol
  • Ability to develop reports, work instructions, training materials, and presentations
  • Excellent written and verbal interpersonal and communication skills
