About the RoleOur client is seeking a Director, Program Management to lead enterprise-wide data governance, analytics, and modernization initiatives.This senior leadership role will oversee the client’s data strategy, data architecture, governance, and advanced analytics to drive informed decision-making and improve program operations. The Director will also serve as a strategic advisor to leadership, guiding policy, innovation, and talent development in data management.Key ResponsibilitiesRevitalize and implement the enterprise data and analytics strategy.Establish and enforce data governance policies, standards, and practices.Oversee data architecture and integration for scalability, security, and compliance.Lead development of advanced analytics/data science capabilities.Build and deliver data literacy training programs for staff.Serve as the key liaison with leadership, policymakers, and external partners.Recruit, mentor, and manage a high-performing data & analytics team.Evaluate and recommend emerging technologies and tools.Define KPIs, dashboards, and performance reporting for executive use.Required Qualifications10–15 years of progressive leadership experience in data management, analytics, governance, or architecture.Bachelor’s or Master’s in Data Science, IT, Environmental Science, Information Science, or equivalent experience.Proven record of strategic planning, program management, and stakeholder engagement.Excellent executive communication skills for reports, briefings, and presentations.Demonstrated expertise in problem-solving, decision-making, and relationship management.Preferred ExperiencePrior experience in scientific, governmental, or environmental data programs.Familiarity with environmental domains such as air, water, waste, or conservation data.Strong emotional intelligence, facilitation, and collaboration skills.Work LocationOnsite in Tallahassee, FLOnsite presence required; limited telework may be considered with prior written approval.Powered by JazzHR
