- Provide information to incoming graduate and post-baccalaureate students about all aspects of the enrollment cycle, including but not limited to, application process, admission requirements, financial aid process, enrollment process and post-secondary options.
- Assist Assistant Dean of Graduate and Professional Programs in developing relationships within the University and external community members to recruit and retain graduate and post-baccalaureate students.
- Represent the University both on- and off-campus to prospective students, and other individuals or organizations involved in the college selection process.
- Evaluate and oversee application processing.
- Oversee pre and post assessment activities as related to student learning outcomes and service satisfaction
- General knowledge of the principles, practices and trends of the Student Services field as well as general knowledge of the policies, procedures and practices of the program area to which assigned.
- General knowledge of individual counseling techniques.
- General knowledge, or the ability to rapidly acquire such knowledge, of the organizational procedures and activities of the specific campus to which the position is assigned.
- Ability to analyze complex situations accurately and adopt effective courses of action.
- Ability to advise students individually and in groups on complex student-related matters.
- Preferred Education: A master's degree in Public Administration or Business Administration
