A day in the life:
  • Perform the duties of a Service Technician including response to regular service calls and maintenance agreement inspections as workload dictates
  • Serve as a good example to Apprentices and fellow Technicians in delivering great customer care, completing all paperwork
  • Provide planning and work execution guidance to Apprentices and Technicians; inspect work quality to ensure services provided meet customer expectations and Company standards
  • Provide support to Service Coordinators and help make decisions with Technician assignments, scheduling and customer issues
  • Assist the Sales Team with major estimates for equipment repair and replacements; provide technical assistance in preparing proposals for service agreements
  • Work effectively with customers regarding complaints and call-backs; ensure that customer issues are resolved in a timely manner
You should have:
  • Work experience as a Commercial Service Technician with a specialization in troubleshooting, servicing and repairing commercial HVAC and refrigeration equipment
  • Journeyman HVAC license (or ability to obtain within 12 months)
  • Experience diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on commercial HVAC and refrigeration systems and related controls
  • Experience with BAS, Hydronics and Refrigeration (preferred)
  • EPA certification and knowledge of OSHA regulations
  • High school diploma or equivalent
