We are seeking Emergency Medicine physicians to provide consistent locum or permanent coverage at a busy community emergency department located just outside Fort Myers. This ED sees about 26,000 patient visits annually and has 11 dedicated ED beds. The location offers a great blend of suburban living with easy access to Florida’s Gulf Coast beaches and amenities.Shifts:Physicians: 7 AM – 7 PM and 7 PM – 7 AMAPPs:Mon–Wed: 9 AM – 7 PM & 11 AM – 11 PMThu–Sun: 9 AM – 10 PMEMR: EpicEmployment Type: Independent Contractor (1099)Compensation$275 per hourRequirementsBoard Certified or Board Eligible in Emergency Medicine (ABEM/AOBEM)FP or IM physicians with at least 2 years of recent emergency medicine experience will be consideredActive Florida medical license preferred
