Our client is seeking a hands-on, results-driven Foundry Supervisor (Night Shift) to lead night operations in a fast-paced, heavy industrial environment. This leadership role is responsible for overseeing team performance and operational output across melting, mold maintenance, and casting departments. Ideal candidates will have a strong foundation in foundry or metal manufacturing environments and a passion for safety, quality, and process improvement.This role offers a key opportunity to make a real impact-mentoring a production team, optimizing operations, and contributing to a culture of accountability and continuous improvement. Candidates must be comfortable working in high-temperature conditions and managing a physically demanding operation.Schedule:3 days off in a row every other week!Rotating 2-2-3 schedule. (2 days off, 2 days on, 3 days off, etc.)12-hour days. 6a-6pKey Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the night shift teams across Melting, Mold Maintenance, and Casting departments.
  • Conduct daily safety spot checks and ensure compliance with safety protocols.
  • Serve as the acting manager during periods of absence, including overseeing production flow and personnel issues.
  • Manage quality, production volume, and cost effectiveness in designated departments.
  • Coach and train employees on procedures, safety protocols, and performance standards.
  • Lead performance reviews in collaboration with team leads, ensuring timely and constructive feedback.
  • Enforce compliance with company policies, procedures, and good manufacturing practices (GMP); administer disciplinary actions when necessary.
  • Identify inefficiencies in workflow and personnel deployment; develop and implement plans to improve safety, output, and quality.
  • Communicate across shifts to align production priorities and ensure a smooth transition.
  • Maintain clean, organized work areas and uphold 5S principles.
  • Operate machinery and assist production teams as needed.
Required Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • 8+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment, preferably in metal casting or foundry operations.
  • 2+years of supervisory experience in a foundry or castings environment
