The Regional Director will be part of a dynamic, constantly changing environment, providing opportunities to seek and delight customers through leading a team of highly motivated and talented retail professionals.The ideal candidate will have significant management experience with a proven record of coaching and developing talent, managing a multi-faceted operation, and consistently taking action to improve service levels.Reporting directly to the Vice president of Retail, you will help maximize sales through developing retail operational excellence and support to Zegna stores visual and image. You will be the ambassador to our clients for the company image and style focusing on the key areas outlined below. This role will be based in Texas or Florida.HOW YOU WILL CONTRIBUTE
Business Development Maximize sales and profitability within the assigned region utilizing all available data, knowledge of the business and marketplace to consistently seek new opportunities to improve core business Responsible for managing stores spend & seek opportunities to minimize costs. Review and monitor daily, weekly, monthly business and people results; creating strategic plans in partnership with the SD of Retail to achieve ideal targets. Propose Store events to generate business; actively participating in the Community to drive external sales generation Active benchmarking of competitor business and brand activities Attract, create, and maintain loyal Zegna customers at every opportunity, managing customer relationships and building solid relationships with VIP customers Analyse and utilize CRM data, setting the direction of the sales team in developing business plans and relationship activities Provide regular feedback to the Merchandising team to ensure all locations have the correct assortment designed to drive profitability & sales. Partner with the Visual Merchandising team to ensure visual criteria and verify guidelines are executed in each store. Responsible for providing support to Store Managers to ensure all operational objectives are achieved, brand and product standards are maintained & store teams are set up for success. Ensure all store locations achieve excellence in retail operations and company standards Report all issues to the Retail Operations team and work in cooperation with the retail department to optimize stockroom management. Manage inventory activities and will be responsible for results. Develop store communication content and ensure best practices and information are consistently shared Manage all financial aspects of business operations, accounting and budgeting including use of daily, weekly, monthly reporting tools; analysis of report data; cash register operations and Sales against goals - tracking sales versus established standards Ensure consistent and high standards of MTM in-store operations and services Set monthly, weekly, and daily sales goals delivered with sound action plans to meet and exceed annual plan Plan Sales force staffing deployment and store shift management Plan for trading peaks and troughs, emergencies, and ad-hoc situations
People Build healthy relationships with Store Leadership teams and establish a positive and engaging work environment in each store location. Oversee performance management and talent development processes within the regions; recognize and reward potential talent. Maintain a talent pipeline by partnering with HR/Learning & Development providing store teams access to learning opportunities as needed. Ensure all store locations create a motivated, positive and safe work environment. Manage all store personnel according to Company policies and employment laws.
WHO YOU ARE: 5+ years management experience in a multi store environment Must exhibit excellent team leadership, customer service, communication, interpersonal and computer skills. Bachelor’s degree or equivalent required. Ability to self-learn and self-develop Generates customer delight Proficient with digital technology Familiar with Apple products is a plus Excellent written and verbal communication skills Compensation ranges from $185,000 to $200,000, with additional bonus opportunities available
