As a Customer Service Technician, you ll be the vital link between patients, caregivers, and providers ensuring equipment is delivered, installed, and explained with compassion and precision.
This hybrid role blends hands-on technical support (delivery, setup, and light repair of oxygen concentrators, hospital beds, and mobility equipment) with customer service excellence (intake coordination, insurance verification, and physician communication). No two days are the same your work directly impacts the health and comfort of patients across your community.Responsibilities:
  • Deliver, set up, and maintain home medical equipment, oxygen systems, and mobility aids.
  • Educate patients and caregivers on safe use and care of equipment.
  • Coordinate with physicians, hospitals, and referral sources to ensure accuracy of orders.
  • Verify insurance coverage and assist with necessary authorizations.
  • Complete delivery forms, intake paperwork, and maintain accurate patient files.
  • Provide service to walk-in patients and support office operations as needed.
  • Participate in on-call rotation for after-hours patient support.
  • Safely operate company or personal vehicle for deliveries (mileage reimbursement provided).
Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Valid driver s license with a clean driving record.
  • 1+ year of experience in customer service, delivery/setup, or healthcare support preferred.
  • Strong computer skills (Microsoft Outlook, Word, Excel) and comfort with intake/order management systems.
  • Ability to lift and carry 65 lbs. repeatedly (oxygen tanks, concentrators, beds, wheelchairs).
  • Mechanically inclined and able to troubleshoot equipment.
  • Excellent communication, organization, and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must pass background check and drug screen.
