Our client, a leader in the logistics industry, is seeking a Warehouse Worker I to join their team. As a Warehouse Worker I, you will be part of the operations department supporting the warehouse team. The ideal candidate will have strong verbal and written communication skills, analytical and problem-solving abilities, and a detail-oriented mindset which will align successfully in the organization.Job Title: Warehouse Worker ILocation: Pittsburgh, PAPay Range: $18.50 per hourShift: Daylight 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m.What's the Job?
  • Receive and count stock items, and record data manually or using a computer.
  • Pack and unpack items to be stocked on shelves in stockrooms, warehouses, or storage yards.
  • Verify inventory computations by comparing them to physical counts of stock, and investigate discrepancies or adjust errors.
  • Store items in an orderly and accessible manner in warehouses, tool rooms, supply rooms, or other areas.
  • Examine and inspect stock items for wear or defects, reporting any damage to supervisors.
What's Needed?
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • 0-2 years of experience in a warehouse or similar environment.
  • Experience driving a sit-down forklift is required; stand-up forklift experience is preferred.
  • Basic understanding of computer operations and ability to read and enter information into computer programs.
  • Ability to lift and carry up to 50 lbs.
