
SLCM-N Program Manager, Associate Director

- Work closely with the AET Portfolio Director and integrated functional teams to execute the Phase 1 contract and develop a winning technical solution for subsequent program phases.
- Partner with the SLCM-N chief engineer to execute the complex technical effort to develop a conceptual solution that meets requirements and provides a clear path to the subsequent milestones and eventual IOC
- As part of the SLCM-N program leadership team, the program manager will work directly with the SLCM-N program director in leading the start-up, execution and capture of this critical program.
- Display strong communication and presentation skills with both leadership and external customers
- Manage the execution of the contracted efforts as well as associated IRAD projects
- Raytheon Program Management Level 3 Certification is required, or ability to achieve within 1 year.
- Travel for customer engagements
- Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and minimum 12 years of prior relevant experience, or an Advanced degree in a related field and minimum 10 years experience
- Experience leading or directly supporting execution within a product development project or program
- Experience writing and/or leading responses to solicitations (RFIs, RFPs, etc.), including white papers and proposals
- Experience managing cost, schedule, and technical performance for programs with use of program management tools such as Earned Value Management System (EVMS), Integrated Master Plan (IMP), Integrated Master Schedule (IMS), Risk and Opportunity Management, Scope Board, or similar business processes
- Experience leading cross-functional teams including, but not limited to: Engineering, Contracts, Finance, Procurement/Supply Chain, and/or Manufacturing/Operations
- Active and transferable Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date with the ability to obtain Top Secret U.S. government security clearance and program access after start
- Program Management Level 3 Certification, or equivalent
- Demonstrated success creating and maintaining strong executive level relationships with suppliers, customers, government representatives, primes and internal peers
- Experience leading proposal efforts to include large value (
- Experience leading missile development activities
- Excellent interpersonal communication and writing skills
- Well-organized with the ability to prioritize and manage a high-mix workload (multiple projects at once)
- Familiarity with government acquisition process
- Active Top Secret U.S. government security clearance
