Lead Test Automation EngineerLocation: remoteWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Lead QA Test Automation Engineer to join our dynamic team at PeakActivity. In this pivotal role, you will be responsible for leading the design, development, and implementation of automation frameworks and tests in a multi-platform e-commerce environment. Your expertise will drive the enhancement of our product quality, ensuring an exceptional user experience across various digital platforms.
  • Languages: Java/Java Script, SQL
  • Automation tools: Selenium, Playwright, LambdaTest, Browserstack
  • API testing/ test automation: Postman, Swagger, JMeter
  • Version control: Bitbucket
  • Project management: Jira
  • Test management: Zephyr, Zephyr Scale or similar
Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead the development and implementation of comprehensive automation test strategies to ensure product quality.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automation frameworks that support multiple platforms.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including product managers, developers, and other QA engineers and Analysts, to understand requirements, priorities and implement effective testing solutions.
  • Mentor and guide QA automation engineers, fostering a culture of quality and continuous improvement.
  • Develop and maintain a robust suite of automated tests to validate the functionality and performance of e-commerce platforms.
  • Analyze test results, identify issues and trends, provide fast and detailed quality reports and recommendations to stakeholders.
  • Work closely with Dev and DevOps teams to integrate automation tests into CI/CD pipeline.
  • Stay abreast of industry trends and best practices in QA automation to ensure our testing strategies remain cutting-edge.
  • Manage and prioritize testing activities in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Qualifications:
  • Proven experience as a QA Automation Engineer, with at least two years in a leadership role.
  • Extensive experience in designing and implementing automation frameworks and tests for e-commerce platforms.
  • Proficient in automation testing tools (e.g., Selenium, Appium, Playwright) and programming languages Java, JavaScript
  • Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes.
  • Experience with continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) processes, profound knowledge of DevOps, DevSecOps concepts.
  • Excellent problem-solving, communication, and leadership skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and lead projects with minimal supervision.
  • Experience in a multi-platform testing environment is highly desirable.
