maintenance, and repair of all water treatment systems, physical plant infrastructure,
medical equipment, and mechanical/electrical systems across dialysis programs. The
role ensures the safety of patients and staff, compliance with local, state, and federal
regulations, and alignment with organizational standards. The manager also oversees
OSHA compliance and ensures resolution of all regulatory issues. This role plays a
critical part in maintaining the quality of technical operations and environmental
cleanliness across all Greenfield Health Systems facilities.PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:Customer Service:
- Champion Greenfield Health Systems’ service values and standards.
- Provide outstanding customer service to both internal and external stakeholders.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships through effective, timely communication.
- Proactively address and resolve customer concerns.
- Manage technical services across all Greenfield locations.
- Collaborate with Regional Administrators to meet operational, financial, and
- Partner with Quality and Education teams on cross-functional initiatives.
- Oversee area financial metrics (maintenance costs, parts, expenses).
- Ensure data accuracy in all systems.
- Supervise repair and maintenance of water treatment systems, dialysis equipment,
Greenfield policies.
- Maintain accurate documentation of all maintenance and repair activities.
- Manage service parts inventory and ensure timely return of warranty and defective
- Lead Quality Assessment and Process Improvement (QAPI) efforts.
- Ensure compliance with OSHA, state, and federal regulations.
- Collaborate on equipment selection, facility renovations, relocations, and new clinic
- Conduct technical assessments and oversee vendor service contracts.
- Ensure emergency preparedness plans are in place and accessible.
- Coordinate technical support during emergencies and natural disasters.
- Recruit, hire, train, and mentor all biomedical technicians.
- Provide ongoing coaching, formal performance evaluations, and manage corrective
- Ensure personnel and training records meet regulatory requirements.
- Lead technical training programs and support direct patient care technical training.
- Keep technical sections of policy and procedure manuals current.
- Implement approved policy and procedure changes.
- Retain technical records per Greenfield’s retention policies.
- Participate in regulatory audits and prepare corrective action plans.
- Manage equipment installation, asset tracking, and capital equipment
- High School Diploma or GED required. Associate degree in electronics, biomedical
- Minimum four years of experience in an industrial or medical technical setting; OR
technical or business field. * Valid driver’s license.
- Ability to use hand tools and small power equipment.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office and system software.
- Ability to train, develop, and motivate a technical team.
- Must meet Color Blindness test requirements as a condition of employment.
- Completion of Biomedical Technician Technical Certification Program within 24
