- As a Network Administrator with expertise in InfiniBand technology, you will play a crucial role in maintaining and optimizing our data center networks.
- You will be responsible for designing, configuring, and troubleshooting network infrastructure, with a strong focus on InfiniBand and Data Center networking, to ensure seamless data flow and exceptional performance.
- Your skills and experience will contribute to the stability and efficiency of our data center operations.
- InfiniBand Expertise: Leverage your in-depth knowledge of InfiniBand technology to design, configure, and maintain high-performance networks within our data centers.
- Network Configuration: Configure and optimize network devices, switches, routers, and other infrastructure components to ensure efficient data transmission and minimal downtime.
- Performance Monitoring: Continuously monitor network performance, identify bottlenecks, and proactively address issues to maintain peak network efficiency.
- Troubleshooting: Rapidly diagnose and resolve network-related problems, implementing solutions to minimize service disruptions and ensure data center reliability.
- Security: Implement and maintain robust network security protocols to safeguard data and ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other IT professionals, including system administrators, to develop integrated solutions that meet the organization's needs.
- Documentation: Maintain detailed documentation of network configurations, changes, and incident reports to ensure transparency and knowledge transfer.
- Hardware and Software Upgrades: Plan and execute network hardware and software upgrades as needed to keep the data center infrastructure up to date.
- Vendor Interaction: Collaborate with vendors to evaluate and procure networking equipment, as well as troubleshoot and resolve technical issues.
- Research and Innovation: Stay current with industry trends and emerging technologies related to data center networking, bringing new ideas and innovative solutions to the team.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Proven experience as a Network Administrator with a strong emphasis on data center networks.
- Extensive expertise in InfiniBand technology, including hands-on experience in design and deployment.
- Proficiency in network protocols, routing, and switching (e.g., BGP, OSPF, VLANs).
- Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
- Knowledge of network security best practices and protocols.
- Familiarity with virtualization technologies (e.g., VMware, Hyper-V).
- Relevant certifications (e.g., CCNA, CCNP, InfiniBand certifications) are a plus.
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
