Job Description:The Analyst Planner, Refurbishment Planning will play a pivotal role in the planning phase of refurbishment projects for our Carnival Cruise Line fleet. This individual will work alongside the Refurbishment Planning Director and Manager in activities pertaining to the project development initiative for the Carnival Cruise Line fleet. They will work closely with various departments including Operations, Marketing, Finance, and Guest Experience and collaborate with representatives, contractors, experts, and leaders both shipboard and shoreside. The Analyst Planner will contribute to the successful implementation of projects aimed at improving our competitive position, driving revenue growth, and enhancing customer satisfaction. This individual will play a crucial role in driving strategic initiatives and supporting the development of new projects to enhance our guest experience and operational efficiency.Essential Functions:
  • Facilitate on all comprehensive proposed refurbishment plans, approved, and executed projects for the Carnival Fleet. This involves strategic administration, ensuring alignment and proper execution of all projects including project plans, timelines, and resource allocation for strategic initiatives aimed at enhancing guest experience, operational efficiency, and revenue generation.
  • Prepare RACI charts and track projects milestones to evaluate the success and impact of initiatives. Engage with internal stakeholders and facilitate collaboration throughout the project development lifecycle.
  • Develop presentations, renderings, drawings, and other visuals to communicate project objectives and concepts for steering committee reviews.
  • Prepare and update timelines for the cycle of fleetwide project development initiatives. Keep CCL management and project stakeholders aware of critical decision deadlines.
  • Assist Manager of Refurbishment Planning in preparing AutoCAD drawings. Highlight general arrangements and conduct space-planning studies.
  • Conduct market research, data analysis, and feasibility studies to support decision-making and identify opportunities for new projects and initiatives within the cruise line industry. Analyze existing venues across ship classes and provide comparisons of venue size against other key metrics.
  • Engage in continuous improvement and best practices in project development and management to enhance efficiency, effectiveness, and project outcomes. Coordinate operational ship visits with planning team, CCL management, and other stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities and assess future projects.   • Communicate with and present to all levels of the organization. Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, solicit feedback, and facilitate communication throughout the project lifecycle. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Interior Design/Architecture, Industrial Engineering, Naval Architecture/Marine Engineering or relevant experience
  • 3-5 years' experience in similar capacity
  • AutoCAD, Microsoft Project, Excel, PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop
  • Previous experience with design and architecture preferred
  • Prior experience in project management, preferably within the cruise line industry or a related field.

  • Ability to multitask, excellent organizational, prioritization and time management skills. Ability to effectively communicate with all stakeholders and executives. Ability to work alongside, influence and relate to individuals at all levels of the organization.
Physical Demands: Must be able to remain in a stationary position at a desk and/or computer for extended periods of time. Requires regular movement throughout CCL facilities. Offers to selected candidates will be made on a fair and equitable basis, taking into account specific job-related skills and experience.At Carnival, your total rewards package is much more than your base salary.
