DOE Eval to HireSchedule: 9am-5pm in officeThe Ideal candidate will work under the supervision of geologists, geodesists, and engineers.*Civil Drafting Responsibilities-Design plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software such as AutoCAD-Versed in both civil and electrical drafting.-Work from rough sketches and specifications created by geodesists and geologists-Design plan maps showing existing structures, existing utilities, and planned construction objects-Integrate survey benchmark locations via coordinates-Specify dimensions, materials, and procedures for new construction*Electrical Drafting Responsibilities-Develop electrical line diagrams-Develop DC and AC backpanels with breakers, DIN terminals, lightning protection, grounding systems-Prepare wiring diagrams that construction workers use to install DC/AC and coaxial cabling systems for geophysical equipment.-Produce detailed drawings for documentation-Experience with Ansys, Trimble SysQue, SolidWorks is a plus*GIS Specialist Responsibilities (Geographic Information Systems)-Familiarity with coordinate systems-Map making using public and proprietary datasets-Integrate civil design plans into GIS system with geology, DEM, and topographic base layers-Familiarity with QGIS and/or ArcGIS (possibly Trimble Business Systems)-Experience with C++, Python, Qt is a plus-Integrate interferometric synthetic aperture radar (InSAR) imagery with geodetic control at the 1-10mm level.-Produce detailed technical project documentation, process designs, and prepare necessary imagery for presentations and reports.-Integrate Quality Control and State of Health metrics of geophysical equipment into GIS datasets.*Other Duties as assigned based upon company needs may include:Excel, coordinating with vendors, shipping/receiving, electrical backpanel configuration preparation (i.e. wiring things up)Express Office: Laguna Hills23181 Verdugo DriveSuite 104-BLaguna Hills, CA 92653
