- Project Oversight & Team Leadership: Manage all project activities and resources, define team assignments, and serve as the primary contact for industrial clients throughout project implementation.
- Financial & Policy Management: Take financial responsibility for projects, ensure accurate reporting, uphold company policies, and maintain compliance with guidelines.
- Stakeholder Communication & Coordination: Provide timely information to stakeholders, make decisions considering the impact on various departments, and ensure smooth cross-department coordination.
- Financial Operations: Facilitate timely invoice payments from clients, oversee pre-construction budgets, manage client and subcontractor change orders, and conduct monthly project accounting reviews.
- Project Management: Ensure projects are completed on schedule, monitor the change issue log, and manage project timelines effectively.
- Staff Development: Select, coach, and manage staff, fostering positive relationships with field personnel and craft foremen.
- Sales & Client Support: Manage a portion of annual sales, provide support to clients on project financials, and take ownership of assigned projects.
- Education & Experience: Bachelor’s Degree in Construction Management, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent work experience, with a minimum of five (5) years in project management within the construction.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Primavera, Suretrak), and knowledge of SharePoint and codes.
- Preferred Qualifications: CPM professional designations, experience in low voltage systems (HVAC Controls, Fire Alarm, Security), and basic estimating skills.
