- Install, repair, and maintain plumbing systems in commercial and industrial buildings, including water supply lines, drainage systems, and gas lines.
- Read and interpret blueprints, specifications, and schematics to plan and execute plumbing installations.
- Collaborate with contractors, engineers, and other trades to ensure project timelines and specifications are met.
- Assemble, install, and repair pipes, fittings, fixtures, and equipment, such as sinks, toilets, water heaters, and HVAC systems.
- Test plumbing systems for leaks and ensure proper functionality using pressure and leak detection equipment.
- Adhere to local plumbing codes, safety standards, and company policies at all times.
- Maintain accurate records of work performed, materials used, and time spent on projects.
- Troubleshoot and resolve plumbing issues efficiently, minimizing downtime on job sites.
- Supervise and mentor apprentices or helpers, ensuring quality workmanship and adherence to safety practices.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in commercial or construction plumbing.
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints, schematics, and technical documents.
- Strong knowledge of plumbing codes, standards, and safety protocols.
- Ability to work in a physically demanding environment, including lifting heavy materials and working in confined spaces or at heights.
- Excellent problem-solving and time-management skills.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively with diverse teams.
