- Lead the planning, execution, and delivery of complex projects within the Innovation & Emerging Technology Division, ensuring they are completed on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop and maintain project plans, including resource allocation, timelines, and risk management strategies.
- Coordinate with cross-functional teams, including technical, business, and operational stakeholders, to ensure project objectives are clearly defined and met.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for project communications, facilitating regular updates to all stakeholders, including project teams, division management, and external partners.
- Implement best practices and methodologies in project management to enhance project efficiency and effectiveness.
- Monitor project progress, adjusting plans and resources as necessary to address challenges and ensure successful project outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant security protocols and guidelines, particularly in the handling and protection of sensitive and classified information.
- Define project scope, goals, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management and stakeholders.
- Develop full-scale project plans and associated communications documents, ensuring alignment with division and organizational objectives.
- Identify and manage project dependencies and critical path, adjusting schedules and resources as needed to meet project milestones.
- Conduct project post-mortems and create recommendation reports to identify successful and unsuccessful project elements.
- Develop best practices and tools for project execution and management to enhance the division’s project management capabilities.
- Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in project management, with a proven track record of successfully managing complex projects in a technology or government setting.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and guide diverse teams towards achieving project objectives.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proficient in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices (e.g., Agile, Scrum, PMI, PMP).
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively negotiate and resolve conflicts.
- Active Top Secret clearance with Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) eligibility.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification or equivalent.
- Agile Certified Practitioner (ACP) or similar agile project management certifications.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field is required. A Master’s degree in Project Management or Business Administration is preferred.
- A minimum of 7 years of project management experience, particularly in roles that require handling sensitive or classified information.
