  • Site Prospecting and Site Acquisition: Working with the company’s early-stage greenfield development team, identify optimal sites for solar development, including conducting the necessary research, including in private and public land records, to identify potential partnerships with relevant stakeholders.
  • Real Estate Agreement Negotiation: Understand the company’s real estate agreements and lead the negotiation and strategy to obtain site control pursuant to the company’s real estate management policies.
  • Prepare Quality Work Product: Prepare real estate agreements, presentations, mapping, and other work products timely and accurately.
  • Development Analysis: Coordinate and collaborate with internal resources and third-party consultants to conduct the company’s early-stage development project analysis to include real estate, environmental, permitting, and interconnection fatal flaw analysis.
  • Represent Ranger Power: Deeply understand Ranger Power’s business and project development process to represent and be the face of the company in interactions with landowners and our projects’ communities.
  • Organization and Data Management: Organize, store, and transmit project information effectively using internal and external data management policies.

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • Must be highly organized, detail-oriented, a self-starter and able to work in a fast-paced, complex operation with limited direction
  • Project management, organizational, and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent interpersonal, communication, negotiation, and advocacy skills
  • Ability to prioritize and manage conflicting demands and multiple projects at a time
  • Passionate about teamwork, communication and an optimistic outlook
  • Ability to initiative to drive early-stage greenfield development objectives
  • Unquestionable business ethics and personal integrity
  • Willingness and enthusiasm to travel domestically up to 75%
  • The ideal candidate will have familiarity with researching private and public land records, experience negotiating renewable energy real estate agreements, expertise with geospatial tools, including ArcGIS and Google Earth, and at least two years of experience in the solar or renewable energy industry.
