See the guide for more information.Priority Review Date: 3/14/25; complete applications received after that date may be considered as needs arise.Position Summary:The Communication Sciences and Disorders Program in the Department of Communication Arts and Sciences is collecting application materials for a pool of lecturers with positions available as determined by need during the 2025-26 academic year. Appointments from the lecturer pool are temporary and often made just prior to the start of the academic term.Minimum Qualifications:The minimum education requirement for a lecturer appointment is a Masters degree in Communication Sciences and Disorders or equivalent.CMSD 156 - Bachelor's degree and teaching, cultural, and sign language experience. (ASHA certification and CA licensure are not required for this course.)Preferred Qualifications:Experience teaching or clinical experience in the subject area of interest. Currency in the field with an active California state license and ASHA certification of clinical competence in Speech-Language Pathology. Preference for Bilingual candidates and candidates with experience working with diverse populations.Responsibilities:Lecturer positions in the department carry responsibilities in the areas of teaching.
