
Manufacturing Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and workflows
- Analyze production methods to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions
- Support new product introductions by developing and validating production processes
- Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation
- Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process and quality issues
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Design Engineering
- Recommend and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production needs
- Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and cost estimation for projects
- Ensure manufacturing practices align with safety, quality, and environmental standards
- Support lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives
- Bachelors Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
- Experience in a manufacturing environment (internship/co-op OK for entry-level)
- Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, process engineering, and quality tools
- Proficient with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and ERP/MRP systems
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
- Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is a plus
- Familiarity with automation, robotics, or CNC machining
- Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices
- Hands-on ability to design and implement jigs, fixtures, or custom tools
