Selectek is seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. This role is critical in driving process improvements, supporting production, and ensuring high-quality, cost-effective manufacturing operations. The ideal candidate will be passionate about continuous improvement, problem-solving, and hands-on engineering in a production environment.
Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and improve manufacturing processes and workflows
  • Analyze production methods to identify inefficiencies and recommend solutions
  • Support new product introductions by developing and validating production processes
  • Develop and maintain work instructions, SOPs, and process documentation
  • Lead root cause analysis and corrective actions for process and quality issues
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams including Quality, Maintenance, and Design Engineering
  • Recommend and implement tooling, fixtures, and equipment to support production needs
  • Conduct time studies, capacity analysis, and cost estimation for projects
  • Ensure manufacturing practices align with safety, quality, and environmental standards
  • Support lean manufacturing, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, Industrial Engineering, or related field
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment (internship/co-op OK for entry-level)
  • Working knowledge of manufacturing systems, process engineering, and quality tools
  • Proficient with CAD software (SolidWorks, AutoCAD, etc.) and ERP/MRP systems
  • Strong problem-solving, organizational, and communication skills
  • Experience with Lean, Six Sigma, or Kaizen methodologies is a plus
Preferred:
  • Familiarity with automation, robotics, or CNC machining
  • Experience in industries such as automotive, aerospace, or medical devices
  • Hands-on ability to design and implement jigs, fixtures, or custom tools
Pay Rate: $40.00
