Hourly Pay Range: $21.08 - $31.62 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.Position Highlights:Position: Patient Access Rep LEADLocation: ElmhurstFull TimeHours: 5p to 1:30a M-F including 1 weekend/mth and rotating holiday scheduleWhat you will need:Education:High School diploma or GEDAssociate degree in business or healthcare or minimum two year’s revenue cycle experience or minimum three years of patient access experience (Preferred)Knowledge of medical terminology, legal and technical aspects of patient access and third party insurancesLicense:A valid driver’s license is required if the incumbent is selected to perform related duties at an off-site location. If the incumbent uses their personal vehicle, the incumbent must maintain automobile liability coverage as required by law and evidence of such coverage may be requested.Experience & Skills:Proficiency with computer programsWhat you will do:Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures, actively performs up to two of the Responsible for the daily coordination of subordinate personnel and the services they provide related to pre-admission testing, outpatient, same day surgery, emergency room, immediate care, inpatient, observation and corporate health registrations, discharges and admissions. Monitors and ensures the accurate and timely input of patient, insurance and clinical information in to the appropriate admissions system. Responsible for ensuring department standards are met and excellent customer service is provided. Provides assistance to staff in resolving issues with procedures, equipment, employees, physicians and/or patients.
