
Table Games Dealer - Part Time - Experience Required

- Must learn and ensure policies and procedures are being followed per the departments' Internal Controls.
- Must adhere to the Spokane Tribe Casino Team Member Handbook.
- Must adhere to the customer service standards.
- Responsible for the accuracy and proficient manner in dealing a specific table game while assuring the protection and control of the game being dealt.
- Process all cash transactions and maintains proper cash handling procedures.
- Advises Table Games Supervisor or other personnel of any important or relevant facts regarding specific players and their actions.
- Observe gamblers for signs of cheats, scams or irregularities in play. Notify the proper personnel.
- Promote Casino promotions with all Customers, and prompt new customers to sign onto our players club.
- Must be willing to learn additional games when training is available.
- Must be familiar with title 31 and pass all required training.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Must be 21 years or older.
- Communicate effectively with all levels of team members, customers and outside contacts.
- Work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Move around all work areas effectively and efficiently.
- Able to work periodically under conditions of extreme urgency (creating higher levels of job stress).
- High School Diploma or GED preferred
- Must be extremely numbers-oriented.
- Must be able to multi-task
- Excellent Customer Service skills.
- Must have ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees.
- Ability to work independently and use good judgment.
- Proven knowledge, training and/or experience on the assigned game required.
- Must successfully pass a dealing audition.
- Basic knowledge of all current house procedures.
- Stand for 60 minutes at a time on a carpeted floor, hardwood floor, or footstool.
- Reach across a table that is waist high to give and take the player's cards and wagers.
- Deal cards, which involve sweeping arm motions from side to side.
- Finger dexterity to be able to shuffle and deal cards.
- See and read to be able to identify cards and pay and collect bets.
- Communicate effectively and maintain positive customer relations at all times.
- Provide adequate games protection at all times
- Deal multiple games on a rotational basis, depending on training and acquired game proficiency, as determined by management.
- Demonstrate proficiency in dealing and having games knowledge of a minimum of Black Jack.
- Perform basic mathematical functions.
- Obtain and maintain a License B with Spokane tribal Gaming Commission.
- Attend required training sessions offered by the Casinos.
- Perform the duties described in compliance with local laws and regulations.
- Take the necessary steps to ensure minors are not allowed to gamble or loiter in gambling areas, drink alcoholic beverages, or purchase tobacco.
- Have knowledge of the ordinances, regulations, laws, policies, and procedures relating to the employee's department.
- Consult Internal Control Procedures and Policy Manuals for guidance.
- Report illegal activity to Security or the appropriate levels of Management.
