Position SummaryThe UNM School of Law anticipates hiring qualified temporary part-time Adjunct Faculty to teach and develop specialized legal courses.Openings include the following subjects:
- Administrative Law
- Education Law
- Environmental Litigation Drafting
- Federal Law in Practice
- Immigration Law
- Introduction to U.S. Law
- LAB
- Legal Analysis for the Uniform Bar Exam
August 8th, 2025 for Fall Semester 2025
October 24th, 2025 for Spring 2026 Semester
April 17th, 2025 for Summer Semester 2026Temporary Part-Time/Adjunct Faculty at the School of Law are compensated based on credit hour course loadsQualificationsMinimum Qualifications:
- J.D. or equivalent legal degree
- At least 5 years of law practice; or
- Prior Experience teaching at the School of Law or another Law School; or
- Demonstrated expertise relevant to a curricular need; and
- A demonstrated commitment to cultivate an understanding of the rich and varied cultures of New Mexico and to the success of the university's mission to serve local and global communities.
