
Sr. Specialist Manufacturing Engineering

- Analyze manufacturing production problems and implement corrective actions involving designs, materials, and processes
- Provide technical expertise and support related to manufacturing
- Incorporate new methods and processes to improve existing operations
- Train production personnel in new or existing operations
- Design layout of equipment and workspaces
- Prepare reports summarizing information/trends related to manufacturing performance
- Insure performance against organizational goals for yield and process capability
- Actively participate in Failure Review Board (FRB) investigations
- Partners with other organizations to create and execute improved manufacturing plans which drive measurable improvements to the portion of the Company’s AOP that falls within this role’s span of control.
- Support a culture of continuous improvement, “Right the First Time”, Safety First, audit ready, and Policy & Security compliance
- Bachelor’s Degree and minimum 6 years of prior engineering experience. Graduate Degree and a minimum of 4 years of prior engineering experience. In lieu of a degree, a minimum of 10 years of prior engineering experience.
- Bachelor’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Systems Engineering preferred
- Advanced communication skills (written and verbal)
- Strong technical, analytical, and critical thinking / reasoning skills.
- Experience with logistics/production process flows/factory floor layout
- Understanding of all aspects of DoD development and program lifecycle: Design, Implementation, Verification, Production and Sustainment
