Operating under its founding mission of Helping Government Serve the People®, MAXIMUS has more than 30,000+ employees worldwide.The Admin 2 - IT Asset Mgmt is responsible for all of the incoming and outgoing distribution of IT equipment to Maximus employees throughout the U.S.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:- Receive inventory, process and/or distribute incoming/outgoing shipments.- Maintain PC/accessory stock to established min/max levels on an ongoing basis.- Organize and maintain Asset area, including inventory of all equipment and accessories (new equipment, intake and surplus areas as defined).- Conduct quarterly audits to ensure accuracy of asset data and reporting.- Facilitate the return/replacement of faulty assets through warranty repair with vendors.- Asset tagging and management of inventory software.- Coordinate the management and loading of assets into asset tracking tool(s).Job Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Maintain MAXIMUS PC/accessory stock to established min/max levels on an ongoing basis.
  • Conducts quarterly audits to ensure accuracy of asset data and reporting.
  • Facilitate the return/replacement of faulty assets through warranty repair with vendors.
  • Asset tagging and management of inventory software.
  • Coordinate the management and loading of assets into the MAXIMUS asset tracking tool(s).
  • Coordinating pickup of our recycled equipment.
  • Order supplies that are needed such as boxes, wrap, tape and asset tags.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including ability to effectively communicate with internal and external customers.
  • Must be able to work under pressure and meet deadlines, while maintaining a positive attitude and providing exemplary customer service.
  • Ability to work independently and to carry out assignments to completion within parameters of instructions given, prescribed routines, and MAXIMUS accepted practices.
  • High school diploma, GED, or equivalent required
  • 2 - 4 years of related experience
  • Experience working with IT equipment or in a warehouse setting is preferred.
  • Candidate should be able to work with the following tools/software: Lansweeper, Outlook, Word, Excel, Coupa and Cherwell.
