CACI is currently looking for a motivated, career and customer-oriented Project Scheduler with Agile methodology experience to join our Customs and Border Protection (CBP) Land Border Integration (LBI) Integrated Traveler Initiative ITI2.1 team in Northern Virginia! Join this passionate team of industry-leading individuals supporting the best practices in Agile Software Development and hardware integration for the Department of Homeland Security (DHS).As a member of the ITI2.1 Team, you will support the men and women charged with safeguarding the American people and enhancing the Nation’s safety, security, and prosperity. The ability to be adaptable and to work constructively with a technically diverse and geographically separated team is crucial.What you’ll get to do:Design and develop Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and project schedules using MS ProjectPrepares documents, spreadsheets, reports and presentationsCreates and/or maintains appropriate logs, databases, inventories, filing (hard or softcopy), status reports/trackingMaintain schedules for multiple projects, and sets up tasks and sub tasks to ensure satisfactory realization of project requirements as scheduledWork with project teams and operations managers to define scope of work to develop and update detailed schedules, cost information and identification of variances from original planPerform analysis on critical path and constraints to determine effect of changes to schedule and recommend work-aroundConduct analysis to identify risks and scheduling issues and determine courses of actions (COA) to recover slips to the schedulesObtains required planning and scheduling information from internal and external ITI2.1 Contract stakeholdersCoordinates with stakeholders to ensure understanding of schedule needsResponsible for leading the integration of project schedule activitiesIdentifies restraints and their effect on the project scheduleIdentifies schedule considerations and challenges resulting from inter discipline or functional restraints and interfacesMonitors, reviews, and reports critical path and schedule performanceLeads schedule analysis and studies of problem areas to determine the criticality of scheduled activitiesRecommends alternatives for schedule improvement to project teams for discussion and/or decisionResponsible for leading the development and review of schedule recovery plans, including the evaluation of additional resources/costs required to affect such plansCreate various reports on project schedule activities and milestonesWork with management team to identify risks that affect project costs, profits, and customer relationsProvides support for research or data analysis tasksMay schedule and arrange travel itinerariesYou have:Must be a U.S. Citizen with the ability to pass CBP background investigation, criteria includes, but not limited to:3-year check for felony convictions1-year check for illegal drug use1-year check for misconduct such as theft or fraudMinimum Bachelor's Degree and 7+ years of experience.Must be available to work a hybrid schedule with an on-site requirement in Sterling, VAYou are good at:Extensive experience in performing, monitoring, and reviewing scheduling functions which include planning, critical path analysis, and schedule performance measurementMust demonstrate good interpersonal teamwork and communication skillsAbility to work under pressure and with minimal supervisionExpert proficiency with Microsoft Project scheduling softwareAdvanced level of proficiency in using Project Controls software applications such as Excel, Word and PowerPointHighly responsible, team-oriented individual with very strong communication and time management skills and work ethic; self-starterBonus would be having:Experience in working with DevOps and Agile methodologies, including Scrum, Waterfall, or KanbanGood understanding of application infrastructure, system architecture, and operating systemProject management experience-What You Can Expect:A culture of integrity.At CACI, we place character and innovation at the center of everything we do.
