Clinical services are rendered at all Jackson Hospital locations: Jackson Holtz Children Hospital, Jackson South, and Jackson North.Reporting Relationship:In this role the Assistant Professor reports directly to the Division ChiefClinical duties will be as a Neonatal Attending in the Neonatal Services at all covering locations providing medical care for neonates in these units on a 24 hour 7 days per week rotational schedule.Provide antenatal consultation for high risk pregnanciesCare and stabilization of infants in the delivery roomConduct daily rounds on patients in the different neonatal unitsAdministrative duties within the division and the Newborn ServiceTeaching of residents, fellows and medical studentsThe position also requires development and participation in original research either clinical or translational for which extramural funding should be sought.Requirements:Active Florida Medical LicenseBoard Certified in PediatricsNeonatal Board Eligible or Neonatal Experience PreferredBLSCurrent Employees:If you are a current Staff, Faculty or Temporary employee at the University of Miami, please click to log in to Workday to use the internal application process.
