A prominent doors and hardware company is searching for a qualified Technician/Installer to join their growing team. If you have a strong background in commercial door systems and hardware installation, we invite you to apply for this exciting opportunity.Responsibilities:Installation and Maintenance:
  • Expertly install and service various commercial door systems, including aluminum storefronts, steel doors, and glass doors.
  • Install, repair, and maintain commercial-grade locks, exit devices, panic bars, hinges, and other hardware components.
Electronic Access Control:
  • Proficient in installing and configuring electronic access control systems, key card systems, and biometric entry solutions commonly used in commercial settings.
Site Assessments:
  • Conduct on-site assessments to understand the security needs of commercial clients.
  • Provide recommendations for appropriate doors and hardware solutions, ensuring compliance with building codes and industry standards.
Collaboration:
  • Work closely with project managers and contractors to integrate door and hardware solutions seamlessly into commercial construction projects.
  • Communicate effectively with clients, project teams, and internal stakeholders.
Emergency Response:
  • Respond promptly to emergency service calls, addressing issues such as malfunctioning locks, door closers, and access control systems.
Qualifications:
  • AAADM certification preferred, but not required.
  • Proven experience as a Commercial Doors and Hardware Technician/Installer or similar role in a commercial setting.
  • In-depth knowledge of commercial door systems, locks, exit devices, panic bars, and other hardware components.
  • Familiarity with electronic access control systems commonly used in commercial applications.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to troubleshoot complex issues efficiently.
  • Excellent communication skills for working with clients, project managers, and team members.
  • Physical fitness and ability to handle heavy commercial doors and equipment.
  • Understanding of relevant building codes, ADA requirements, and industry standards.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
