Job DescriptionJob Title:Automotive Technician / Mechanic C-levelLocation:22240 Midland Drive, Shawnee, United States, 66226Job Overview:We are looking for technicians who are energetic, upbeat, and have a positive attitude. The technicians we are looking for have to seek out solutions to tough problems with a strong passion for doing what’s right for our guests.Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
Perform routine maintenance services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid flushes, alignments, and digital vehicle inspections
Independently complete brake and suspension repairs—including brake pad and rotor replacement, caliper service, shocks, and struts—to ensure safe and reliable vehicles for our Guests
Continuously build experience as an automotive mechanic across a wide range of domestic and foreign vehicles
Complete full, accurate, and honest courtesy vehicle inspections
Technicians use their knowledge & skills to diagnose and fix vehicles for our guests
Work as part of a team to troubleshoot guest concerns quickly and effectively
Follow and promote our high standards of safety, cleanliness, and organization
Work closely with the service department and effectively communicate concerns
Work together with other technicians to solve problems, meet deadlines, and deliver distinguished results
QualificationsQualifications:
Positive attitude and a desire to serve guest
3+ years of experience as an automotive technician/mechanic
ASE Certifications preferred, or a plan to achieve
Comfortable and capable of repairing all makes/models of vehicles
Meet or exceed hourly goals
Aptitude for learning additional skills and processes
Professional appearance and strong communication
A desire for long-term career development
Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lift and/or move over 100 pounds
Be able to work with tools on vehicles lifted above their head
Work in tight spaces as dictated by the vehicle’s needed repair
Have the needed dexterity in order to efficiently use hand tools
Walk/stand for the majority of their workday
Drive manual transmissions vehicles
Efficiently navigate a computer
