We take pride in helping our teammates achieve more than they thought possible.Baesman Group is seeking a Digital Ink Jet Web Press Operator for our second or third-shift operations. This role is responsible for the setup and operation of a full range of printing and finishing equipment. Must be experienced with multicolor equipment and/or finishing equipment, able to stand for long periods, regularly move / lift up to 25 pounds and frequently 50 pounds.Essential Duties and Responsibilities:· Follow and comply with all Baesman safety guidelines and shopfloor rules.· Receive work assignments and communicate daily schedule with fellow employees.· Prepare each job by the job ticket and adhere to the production schedule sequence.· Interpret job specifications via the job ticket to understand job details such as number of pieces to be printed and finished, as well as ensure the quality characteristics of the product (perforations, scores and folding).· Perform machine setups on both the printers and finishing equipment within the targeted time-period.· Achieve and maintain required print and finishing quality level that meets client expectation.· Consistently maintain a high level of production on the digital ink jet web press and finishing equipment that achieves the targeted level of through-put.· Perform scheduled preventative maintenance and maintain a clean and safe work environment.· When producing USPS Mail, ensure that the finished product adheres to USPS tray and pallet preparation requirements.· Must have the ability to communicate well with managers, and co-workers· Be adaptable to changing priorities within the production schedule at any given time· Perform other duties and assignments as needed.Requirements· High school diploma or equivalent preferred, but not required.· 2+ years of experience using CMYK multicolor printing equipment and or finishing equipment preferred.· Digital printing experience is a plus.· Comfortable with operating computers.· Proactive and detail orientated.· Must possess critical thinking and problem-solving capability. Ability to read and comprehend written instructions a necessity.· Effective verbal communication skills and ability to write simple correspondence required.· Understanding of ink on paper printing a plusBenefitsFinancial wellness is about more than just your salary.
