- The client Compliance Technology is looking for a business analyst to join our team.
- This individual will be responsible for working closely with the internal technology and compliance surveillance teams for gathering and analyzing business requirements, reviewing business processes, developing optimization strategies and solutions etc.
- This role will also challenge the candidate to crystalize requirements, define best practices, and work with business units and stakeholders to meet project deliverables.
- Requirements will then be used to drive the selection and implementation of a firmwide regulatory reporting solution.
- Performing business requirements analysis, evaluating business processes, anticipating requirements, uncovering areas for improvement, and developing and implementing solutions.
- Reviewing business processes and developing optimization strategies, ensuring solutions meet business needs and requirements.
- Effectively communicating your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
- Gathering critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and producing useful reports.
- Ensure deliverables meet product requirements, and work with end users and project stakeholders to define best practices.
- Work in a dynamic environment, partnering with fast-paced agile teams, to deliver quality software solutions to complex business problems.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills - ability to gather requirements for projects in financial sector, influence key decision makers, both internally and externally.
- Problem-solving and continuous improvement attitude.
- Self-motivated candidate who can work just as easily as an individual and as a team member; flexible attitude and ability to perform under pressure.

- Familiar with Atlassian tools (JIRA/Confluence).
- Understanding of compliance activities (Portfolio Surveillance and Regulatory Reporting).
- Strong time management skills, including the ability to manage multiple cross-functional projects at once.
- Convey plans, issues, and concerns in a clear, logical and concise manner.
- The ideal candidate should have at least 10 years' experience working with the implementation of mission-critical financial services solutions within a bank, hedge-fund, or asset manager.
- Only candidates available and ready to work directly as Genesis10 employees will be considered for this position.
- BA/BS or equivalent is required.
- 10+ years project management/business analyst experience in IT.
- Relevant experience in financial services or asset management.
- Functional knowledge of Charles River Investment Management Solution.
- Knowledge of data management concepts, familiarity with basic SQL and
- database design principles.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple projects and timelines while being detail oriented.
- Accountability and willingness to be pro-active in learning and improving the quality of deliverables and efficiency of processes.
- Excellent interpersonal skills: we're looking for someone who can work closely with technology teammates and business sponsors, while still being able to challenge traditional thought processes with new and innovative ideas.
- Track record of being able to communicate complex problems across teams and users in an understandable fashion.
- Access to hundreds of clients, most who have been working with Genesis10 for 5-20+ years.
