Enjoy the surroundings and excitement that our amazing resort offers such as incredible outdoor recreational opportunities, including horseback riding, airboat and swamp buggy rides, trap & skeet range, full-service marina and award-winning Saturday night rodeo.Job DescriptionThe Stable Keeper plays a key role in maintaining the daily care and well-being of animals through proper feeding, grooming, and exercise routines. This position also ensures the stables and equipment are clean, organized, and ready for safe and smooth operations.As a Stable Keeper, you will:
  • Measure, mix, and apportion feed and feed supplements according to feeding instructions and water the animals
  • Wash, brush, trim, and curry each animal's coat to clean and improve their appearance
  • Inspect animals for disease, illness, and injury and treat animals according to all established guidelines and procedures
  • Clean saddles and bridles to ensure the best quality and cleanliness
  • Unload and store feed and supplies and continuously replenish bedding for all animals
  • Whitewash stables and clean animal quarters
  • Exercise animals and assist with other tasks as necessary

  • Must be at least 18 and have a valid driver's license to drive company golf carts
  • Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
