About the Role & Team:TelevisaUnivision is the leading Spanish-language media company in the U.S., serving Latino audiences through broadcast, digital, and streaming platforms. Our Political & Advocacy Group (PAG) partners with agencies, campaigns, and organizations to deliver culturally resonant media strategies that drive civic engagement and advocacy among Hispanic communities. We are seeking a dynamic and strategic Director of Agency Relations to lead and grow our partnerships with political and advocacy agencies.ABOUT YOU:This role is pivotal in driving revenue, shaping media strategy, and ensuring our clients effectively reach and mobilize Latino audiences. The ideal candidate is a relationship builder, a media strategist, and a passionate advocate for multicultural engagement.YOUR DAY-DAY:
  • Serve as a liaison between TelevisaUnivision, our agency partners, consultants and rep firms to position Univision as leader in providing voter insights, creative consultative services and deep coverage of Hispanic voters
  • Manage strategic direction of Agency GTM strategy including planning, product development, and packaging to drive revenue.
  • Lead media planning conversations, ensuring alignment among TU platforms and campaign goals
  • Collaborate with internal teams (sales, research, marketing, operations) and external partners to stay in alignment to deliver best-in-class service and solutions.
  • Develop and execute strategic plans to grow new and existing agency partnerships and revenue.
  • Build and manage competitive tools across all platforms, teams and partners to generate incremental revenue.
  • Create, coordinate and maintain smooth workflow processes between TV, radio and digital departments to create effective integrated sales systems.
  • Maintain GTM alignment with political consultants regarding communication and outreach efforts to campaign stakeholders.
  • Accurately identify, monitor and track political sales and political trends
  • Provide thought leadership on Latino voter engagement and multicultural media trends.
  • Represent TelevisaUnivision at industry events, conferences, and client meetings.
  • Manage and mentor junior team members, fostering growth and collaboration.
YOU HAVE:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Advertising, Marketing, Political Science, Communications, or related field.
  • 6+ years of experience in media sales, agency relations, or political advertising.
  • Deep understanding of political media buying cycles, advocacy campaigns, and multicultural media
  • Strong track record of successfully generating revenue for TV, radio, and digital campaigns.
  • Proven success in building and managing agency relationships.
  • Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong problem solving and analytical skills required
  • Excellent networking ability and strong list of VA/DC contacts and relationships with leading political agencies, consultants and partisan stakeholders.
  • Solid ability to identify new revenue opportunities
  • Ability to develop and manage a consistent sales pipeline and a proven track record of exceeding goals.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
  • Must have strong time management and organizational skills.
  • Passion for civic engagement and Latino community empowerment.
  • Bilingual (Spanish/English) strongly preferred.

Exact compensation may vary based on skills, experience, and location.
