You'll get the satisfaction of making great products people use and love.In this position...You will be responsible for “depth and breadth” on all shifts/crews within a department, delivering all department scorecard objectives, owning processes (e.g., constraint management/VRT), standardization across all workstations within the area, planning change, determining continuous improvement opportunities, and serving as a change agent to drive the Ford Production System.Responsibilities:What you'll do...Ensure all plant Utilities are 100% reliable (electric, natural gas, water, compressed air, steam, chilled water supply, mill water supply, fire protection, and bulk fluids)Manage Malware compliance for plant floor assetsManage annual Facility PM and improvements.Request and prioritize FHA funds annuallyManage Tool Room, Cutter Grind, Garage, Powerhouse, Waste Treatment, Center Shop, and JLL teams.Manage Plant CCM activities (Construction Commodity Manager - Fenton)Participate in facility related Safety Teams. (Pedestrian Safety, Heat Stress, Snow and Ice Team)Drive process and operations excellence to Ford Standard Practices for facility operationsMonitor and confirm that manufacturing operating system standards are being applied and adhered to throughout the plantDevelop, coach, and support to achieve SQDCPME objectivesSupport issues raised by the teamsCoach, teach, and feedback on resolution of abnormalities, and validate closure of concerns (facilitates interim containment actions)Provide necessary resources to maintain production flow and confirm critical inputs are being performed to the acceptable standard(s)Plan maintenance tasks, monitor completion and effectiveness, and drive improvement and/or coaching opportunitiesQualifications:You'll have...
  • Education: High School Diploma or GED
  • Microsoft Office knowledge (Word/Excel/Outlook) Ability to teach Ford Production System principles
  • Strong ability to oversee production maintenance, building facility and construction skilled trades.
  • Project management experience
  • Strong ability to interface with plant hourly, salaried personnel and plant management
  • Strong ability to present in front of plant management

  • Education: Bachelor's Degree
  • Broad production experience
  • Lead Process Coach experience
  • 6-sigma designation preferred
  • Strong analytical skills and quick decision making capability preferred
  • Strong ability to oversee production maintenance, building facility and construction skilled trades.
  • Project management experience
  • Strong ability to interface with plant hourly, salaried personnel and plant management
  • Strong ability to present in front of plant management
  • Union negotiations experience
  • Competent in the use of data for decision making
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team
  • Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to resolve diverse problems
  • Work well under pressure and to be able to work under crisis management when necessary
  • Ability to work and multi-task in fast paced environment
