
Production Operator

- Must possess a valid Driver's License
- High school diploma or GED
- Ability to read, analyze and interpret business documentation, SOPs, and job descriptions
- Ability to do fundamental mathematics as it pertains to production, formulations, and efficiencies
- Ability to interpret a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form
- Ability to perform job functions with minimal supervision
- Ability to follow all safety rules and procedures.
- The entry-level wage is $19.36 an hour, plus a profit share/gain share program

- Operate treating machine(s) that produce furniture and decor papers
- Regulate machine speed, flow, volume, and temperature
- Stop or reset machine when a malfunction occurs and clear machine jams
- Observe machine operations to ensure quality and conformity of products to standards
- Adjust machine tension, pressure, and machine components according to specifics of product
- Inspect and remove defective products as required
- Remove finished packaged items from machine and separate rejected items as needed
- Verify and record product weights or measurements to ensure quality standards
- Perform other duties as assigned by supervisor
- Willing to support and work on other shifts as needed
- Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to inspect and maintain equipment.
- Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up to 50 pounds.
- Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects.
- Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods, often in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels and varying temperatures
