Job DescriptionSummary of Responsibilities:Reporting to the Director, Housekeeping, responsibilities and essential job functions include but are not limited to the following:Consistently offers professional, engaging and friendly serviceInspect all rooms assigned to room attendants in his/her section of the hotel on a daily basis.Notify Room attendant of any deficiencies found in the room and note on the attendants board.Check appearance of all employees to ensure compliance with Fairmont standards of appearance.Submit maintenance reports/requests to Royal Service.Confer with front office regarding information about discrepant rooms via phone or in person.Physically checks discrepant rooms to ascertain status.Inspect room attendants’ carts/signs board in the morning and the afternoon.Builds strong rapport with support departmentsOther duties as assignedQualificationsQualifications:Previous experience is an assetMust have PM availabilityMinimum 2 years' experience in a housekeeping role.Proven ability to guide and coach team membersAn operational knowledge Microsoft Office suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)Leadership, written/verbal communication, coaching and interpersonal skillsStrong guest service orientationAble to balance a variety of conflicting priorities while providing guest serviceAdditional InformationPhysical Aspects of Position (include but are not limited to):

Constant walking and standing during shift
May occasionally exert up to 25 pounds lift, carry, push, or pull objects
