OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Manual Machinist to join our dynamic team in Gonzales, LA. In this role, you will be responsible for operating and maintaining various manual machining equipment to produce high-quality components.   • Set up and operate manual lathes, mills, and other machining equipment.
  • Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
  • Measure and inspect finished products for accuracy and quality.
  • Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure optimal performance.
  • Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve machining issues.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment.
  • Adhere to safety protocols and company policies at all times.
Qualifications
  • High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred.
  • Proven experience as a Manual Machinist or similar role.
  • Proficient in reading blueprints and technical drawings.
  • Strong understanding of machining processes and tools.
  • Ability to use precision measuring instruments (calipers, micrometers, etc.).
  • Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong communication skills and a positive attitude.
