At a high level, this includes engaging business lines (VOC) to understand their goals, gaps in technology and evaluating ideas for new digital functionality & enhancements, as well as issue resolution and bug fixes. It is also to create and maintain requirements and building logical recommendations for future enhancements upgrades to the 3DExperience Enovia and SolidWorks CAD solutions as well as assisting in the planning of the overall roadmap for PLM in 1,3 & 5 year intervals. This position manages a variable headcount of direct hire and contract technical support staff. The role will also manage specific financial budget review and 3rd party services providers to ensure productivity and accountability. Directing, planning and engaging in the system architecture of our PLM and CAD landscape.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE INCLUDE:Translate business needs into thoughtful and creative 3DExperience Enovia PLM solutions that can drive sustainable business benefits.Drives and facilitates the right discussions between functional team and technical teams to drive effective collaboration and project successManaging our continued use and evolution of Agile methodology and ensure the adherence of policies and processes associated with Agile.Ability to direct AGILE scrum activities and ceremoniesDriving the development of DevOps and testing tools to abbreviate and improve on code check-in practices and first attempt success as well as automated testing practices, tools and procedures.Understanding how nVent is structured - capture relationship between business segments, locations, roles and stakeholders, channels & customers, and other information that is valuable for downstream architecture and solution development effortsContribute to and Manage the Development, configuration, customization, programming and implementation of Enovia applications, packages, and components customized to meet specific business requirements.Ensure adequate support for all systems and clients using Enovia PLM 3DExperience best practices.Develop and maintain ideas new features and enhancements for business growth in alignment with Enterprise Architecture & Digital strategySupport the research, analysis, and development of new business processes resulting in a set of recommendations for PLM process change and/or systems development projects.Develop technical plans from the discovery of detailed business process & value stream mappings from the stakeholder perspective that will serve as process blueprintsTakes an active role in developing global standardization of processes for the entire enterpriseInfluence and aid in the adoption and implementation of Standard Best Business Practices while limiting customization of deployed digital products.Analyze business requirements to drive technical solutions in collaboration with functional teams, business owners, domain experts and business partnersAnticipates emerging business trends and regulatory/risk issues as a basis for recommending large-scale product, technical, functional or operational improvementsPlay an assisting role in program increment planning and, where necessary, execute stories/tasks through JiraPlan, review and anticipate needs in our web hosting and local resource capacity. Understand our demands for these services from both an infrastructure and financial perspective.Conduct 3rd party service partner review, scope development and establish SLA agreement for the measurement of progress and ultimate success.Mentor staff and provide constructive feedback and praise.Ensure the adherence to all HR practices as it relates to direct reports. Conduct timely reviews, schedule 1:1 time with directs as well as team collaboration.Maintain visibility across business and technology initiatives to optimize release schedulesYOU HAVE:Academic background in application development required.BS in Computer Science or similar is required.Ideally 8+ years total experience working with the Enovia Platform is requiredPREVIOUS EXPERIENCE IN OR WITH:Experience developing strategic technology plans and roadmaps, including business capability planningExperience planning and deploying business and IT initiativesExperience with at least 8 full lifecycle implementation of technology platforms such as PLM, ERP, CRM etc. in a multi-region/multi-site settingExperience with delivering using Agile methodology and toolsExperience working in a manufacturing environment preferredExperience supporting digital transformation preferredExperience in the Dassault Systemes 3DExperience platform a must. (Enovia 19x and higher)Experience in the Dassault Systemes SolidWorks CAD platform a mustSupplemental development experience with: Technia Value Components, Java, J2EE, C, C++, TCL, MQL, SQLSkilled at writing white papers, technical reportsStrong analysis skills and decision making abilitiesAbility to apply architectural principles to business solutionsAbility to map across business goals, business capabilities, value stream maps and digital platforms/products to identify gaps in offerings and develop coherent and compelling roadmapsExperience with System Analysis and Architecture Designs, Functional and Technical Design, Process Flow, Data Model diagrams, Business Process Mapping, Project Management, SCRUM Master, Technical TroubleshootingWE HAVE:
