
Mobile Equipment Fleet Mechanic

- Perform preventative and predictive maintenance on mobile equipment fleet to prevent breakdowns
- Conduct routine inspections, servicing, and repairs on fleet vehicles and mobile equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical, hydraulic, and electrical systems on various fleet equipment
- Manage spare parts and replacement components inventory for fleet operations
- Complete safety-related PM and repair tasks according to established schedules
- Respond to help desk work orders within 24-hour timeframe
- Maintain accurate maintenance records and documentation in CMMS
- Utilize pre-task planning methods and participate in safety concern processes
- Perform general housekeeping in work areas and maintain organized shop environment
- Coordinate with vendors and suppliers for specialized parts and services
- Experience with pumps, motors, speed/feed systems, and hydraulic systems
- Knowledge of mobile equipment maintenance and repair procedures
- Understanding of preventative and predictive maintenance principles
- Ability to read technical manuals, schematics, and maintenance procedures
- Basic knowledge of controller programs and diagnostic equipment
- Strong written and verbal communication abilities
- Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
- Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation
- Current forklift and aerial lift operator licenses (or ability to obtain)
- Valid driver's license with clean driving record
- Physical ability to lift 50+ pounds and work in various positions
- Commitment to attend scheduled training and maintain certifications
- 8-10+ years of facility or fleet maintenance experience
- ASE certification or equivalent automotive/equipment certification
- Knowledge of MAXIMO or similar CMMS systems
- Experience with heavy equipment, forklifts, and industrial vehicles
- Hydraulic system certification or training
- Welding and fabrication skills
- Manufacturing or industrial environment experience
- Associate degree in Automotive Technology or related field
- CDL license for operating larger fleet vehicles
