Our techs perform immunohematology reference work and consultations for our customer hospitals in a pleasant and low stress environment. In addition to reference work, our techs process samples for outsourced testing; evaluate laboratory data and test results; investigate and resolve process issues; assist with evaluation, validation and implementation of new technology and instrumentationIf you are comfortable working independently within established guidelines; are detail-oriented; patient and conscientious; and can interact with customers and co-workers in a helpful, supportive way - you'll fit in perfectly here.Duties:
Perform all duties and responsibilities of a Medical Technologist at an acceptable level of proficiency at all times.
Train Manufacturing and Distribution personnel.
Perform document development and revisions (SOPs, training guides, job aides forms).
Obtain operational and troubleshooting competency on lab equipment.
Assist lab management-Lookbacks, product investigation, report to MS Department of Health, Variance Reporting and Investigations.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree (B. S.) Laboratory Science field from four-year college or university, MT (ASCP or equivalent); plus 1 year related experience.
