- Capable of obtaining quality radiographs of all body parts using proper exposure, markers, and shielding. Knows how to use portable x-ray machines and c-arms.
- Assists Radiologist with Fluoroscopic procedures
- Instructs and educates patient regarding the ordered test and prepares the patient for the procedure
- Able to use CR reader, erase CR cassettes, send images from CR reader, and perform image manipulation as necessary.
- Able to access PACS, review studies, and perform basic functions for image manipulations. Resolve QA issues, close studies as reviewed, burn CD's, transfer images, and print from PACS.
- Records all care information concisely, accurately and completely, in a timely manner, in the appropriate format and on the appropriate forms
- Maintains order, stock, and cleanliness of all areas in the department
QualificationsEducation and Experience
- Graduate of an accredited college or technical school for Radiologic Technology, Required upon hire.
- Registered Technologist Radiography ARRT (RTR), Required upon hire.
- Medical Radiographer: North Dakota (MRAD:ND), Required upon hire.
- American Heart Association, Basic Life Support - CPR (BLS-CPR), Required upon hire.
