Childcare Center Shift Supervisor 9AM- 6PM OR 3PM-6PM SCHEDULE

• Help supervise and mentor a team of 25-30 staff ( teachers, teacher assistants, and classroom aides), providing coaching, training, and feedback to support their professional growth
• Working with the center director, implement curricula, classroom management techniques, and educational philosophies in alignment with Montessori principles
• Monitor classrooms to ensure compliance with state licensing regulations, safety protocols, and Bambini Montessori policies
• Communicate with parents, addressing concerns, sharing updates on child development, and building positive relationships
• Assist the Center Director in maintaining classroom records, conducting evaluations, and scheduling
• Identify areas for program improvement and implement solutions to enhance the quality of education and care
• Step in to teach classes and lead activities as needed to support classroom staffing needs
• Cultivate a nurturing, inclusive environment where children can learn and thrive

• Minimum 2 years supervisory experience in a fast paced enviroment
• Experience in a childcare setting and teacher certification preferred
• Demonstrated ability to lead, motivate, and manage teams of up to 25-30 staff members effectively. Skilled in setting clear expectations, providing constructive feedback, and fostering a collaborative work environment.
• Exceptional communication skills, both verbal and written, enabling effective interaction with staff, peers, and senior management.
• Proficient in resolving conflicts, addressing concerns, and building strong relationships to promote teamwork and cohesion.
• Thorough knowledge of child development theories and Montessori methodology
• Excellent communication, organization, and problem-solving skills
• Current CPR/First Aid certification
• Meet all state licensing requirements for child care supervisors in Maryland
• MUST WORK CLOSING SHIFT FULL TIME 9AM-6PM OR PART TIME 3PM-6PM
