Job Purpose:Beacon Communications is a leader in critical communication systems installation and services the healthcare, education and commercial markets and located in Littleton Colorado. The HR Generalist oversees the HR function of our multistate specialty construction business. Among other responsibilities, the successful candidate will be responsible for recruiting and hiring staff, benefits administration, leaves of absence, personnel records and files, HR reporting and other general HR functions. The annual salary range for this role is between $69,000 - $78,000 USD, commensurate on relevant education, related experience, and other factors.Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Overseeing recruitment, selection, and the onboarding process
  • Ensuring that a company's procedures comply with employment regulations.
  • Setting and reviewing pay structures and employee benefits
  • Benefits administration including open enrollment, benefit billing reconciliations, employee questions.
  • Monitor promotions, transfers and terminations.
  • Reporting on HR related data.
  • FMLA Compliance/Leave of Absence processes
  • Managing Employee Relations
  • Other special projects and duties as assigned.

Education, License and Experience:
  • Degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Minimum 3 years directly related experience in human resources.
Physical Requirements:
  • Requires prolonged sitting, standing, some bending, stooping, and stretching. Requires manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination for data input.
  • Occasionally lifts and carries items weighing up to 20 pounds.
  • Must maintain a clear background check in order to satisfy customer jobsite badging requirements.
  • Must be willing to submit to all vaccinations and screening tests required for customer jobsite badging protocol.
  • Consistent, reliable, and timely attendance
  • Maintain a clear drug and alcohol screening protocol.
