ECS is seeking a Contractor Program Security Officer to work in our Arlington, VA office.Job Description:Provides CPSO support to Navy Program Office in Crystal City.Oversees daily administration of all security aspects of assigned programs, personnel program access requests, visit requests, travel briefings, security training, COMSEC accountability, and maintains separate security facility and associated systems in support of contract.Assist program management in understanding and implementing security initiatives and develop risk management methodologies to minimize cost while maximizing protection to the program's most sensitive assets.Execute security requirements and establish a secure mission environment in accordance with National Security guidelines and Intelligence Community Directives (ICDs), DoD Instructions and Manuals, Administrative Security Manuals DoDM 5210.01 Volumes 1-4, DoDM 5205.07 Volumes 1-4 SAP Security, DoDI 5205.11 Management Administrative Oversight of SAP, DoD (I) SAP Nomination Process Memo, DoD 8500.1Cyber Security, DoD 8570.01 Information Assurance Training, Certification and Workforce Management, 8570.01-M Workforce Improvement Management.Implement national program security policy directives throughout each phase of the acquisition cycle (i.e., research and development, testing, production, delivery, integration, launch, operations, and closeout) and for providing security guidance concerning personnel, physical, operational, technical, information, industrial, counterintelligence, and computer security issues to government and contractor personnel.Required Skills:
  • Active Top-Secret Clearance.
  • U.S. Citizenship is required per contract.
  • Minimum of 6 years' experience, prior experience as CPSO supporting special access programs.
  • Excellent communication, judgment, and decision-making skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to analyze problems and identify solutions.
  • Working knowledge of the NISPOM, DCIDS, ICDs, and Executive Orders, to ensure security compliance.
  • Previous security experience with the Intelligence Community.
  • Knowledge of the various security disciplines such as physical security, personnel security, information system security and industrial security to determine, apply, and monitor appropriate security requirements for assigned programs.
  • Experience with standard Microsoft suite products (Word, Excel, PPT) and in-house security government systems.
Desired Skills:
  • Experience with in accreditation of spaces constructed under ICD 705 Physical Security Construction Requirements for Special Access Programs.
