Technical Project ManagerLocation: Hybrid (Houston or San Antonio, Texas)
Salary Range: $100-$120KCyclotron is looking for experienced Project Managers with a strong IT/Technology consulting background to join its PMO team. Successful candidates should demonstrate the ability to work in a dynamic environment, leadership skills, and ability to build rapport with clients, team members, and senior executives alike. Our Project Managers work across multiple industries and are expected to understand their clients’ businesses and build credibility quickly.What You’ll Do
  • Plan, initiate, and manage information technology projects
  • Serve as liaison between business and technical aspects of projects
  • Act as a single point of contact for the project schedule and deliverables
  • Plan project stages and assess business implications for each stage
  • Monitor progress to assure deadlines, standards, and cost targets are met
  • Hold status and executive review meetings and provide regular status reports and dashboards
  • Work closely with customer team and executives to keep project on track
  • Apply skills and methodology to lead others, proactively mitigate risks, and resolve issues
  • Have complete understanding and grasp of project scope
  • Demonstrate an understanding of the client environment and business
  • Contribute to deliverables and review team’s work for quality and accuracy
  • Mentor clients, work on projects independently, and lead teams to successful project delivery
  • Work in multiple disciplines across industries and build client knowledge and credibility quickly
  • Demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills with audiences of all levels
What You’ll Bring
  • 5+ years of experience leading and managing projects (minimum of 5 years of project management experience)
  • Experience in the IT/Technology space, specifically with microsoft products and solutions
  • 2+ years of experience managing projects in a consulting environment
  • Experience leading projects consisting of 5 or more people, or projects over $500,000 in budget
  • Prior experience managing and working with Microsoft cloud technologies or other
  • software/application services
  • Experience in scheduling projects using Microsoft Project
  • Experience across the Software Development Lifecycle (SDLC)
  • Previous experience working in an Agile environment
  • Proven communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Strong logical and analytical problem-solving skills
  • Excellent teamwork and interpersonal skills
  • Bachelor's degree
  • PMP certification, Agile certification or some combination of formal Project Management education
