Overview
A prestigious public accounting firm in Bergen County is seeking a Full-Charge Bookkeeper WITH EXTENSIVE
TAX PREPARATION EXPERIENCE. to join their team. This role involves managing day-to-day bookkeeping and
assisting clients with tax return preparation.Responsibilities:
- Handle full-charge bookkeeping functions for multiple clients.
- Prepare and assist with individual and small business tax returns.
- Maintain accurate financial records and general ledger reconciliation.
- Prepare financial statements, reports, and supporting documentation.
- Communicate with clients regarding financial data and record-keeping.
- Collaborate with firm staff to ensure compliance with accounting standards.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred.
- Strong bookkeeping experience, including general ledger and reconciliations.
- Experience with tax return preparation strongly preferred.
- Public accounting firm experience is highly desirable.
- Proficiency with accounting software and MS Office.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- $60,000 - $75,000 depending on experience MORE FOR HIGHLY CAPABLE PERSON
