- Create and format pleadings, discovery documents, and response shells
- Generate and update Tables of Authorities (TOA) and Tables of Contents (TOC) with proper citation formatting
- Revise, proofread, and compare Word and PDF documents
- Convert, optimize, and manipulate PDFs, including making searchable, resizing, bookmarking, linking, Bates stamping, and compiling exhibits
- Prepare appellate Excerpts of Record and format jury instructions and indexes
- Draft and format Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations
- Manage ProLaw time entry
- Prepare mail merge documents, envelopes, and labels
- Handle transcription, metadata removal, and troubleshooting problematic documents
- Reformat outside documents to align with firm styles and numbering conventions
- Edit pictures and graphics (.jpeg, .gif, etc.) for use in firm documents
- Prepare, revise, and format ALN Forms Workflow and other court forms
- Manage sFTP links and DocuSign workflows for secure document transfer and signatures
- Provide “how-to” support for macros, document formatting, and firm-approved software
- 5+ years of legal word processing or document production experience in a law firm or professional services environment
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Adobe Acrobat
- Strong knowledge of state, federal, and appellate court formatting requirements
- Ability to generate accurate TOAs and TOCs, format pleadings, and troubleshoot complex documents
- Experience with ProLaw, DocuSign, and ALN Forms Workflow preferred
- Excellent attention to detail, organization, and proofreading skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a deadline-driven environment
- Salary: $85,000 – $105,000, commensurate with experience
- Schedule: Full-time, 7.5-hour core workday; hybrid 3/2 in-office/remote arrangement
