MalaceHR is seeking an experienced Maintenance Manager to work at Automotive campus in Warren, MI.These are new positions:
  • One will manage the Group Leaders/Tech's/Painters/Event Support (Midshift 10-6:30ish).
  • One will be 3rd shift and should have strong HVAC background, ability to work independently, and to drive results from a team
JOB DESCRIPTIONAs a Maintenance Manager you will plan, manage and guide multiple maintenance contracted services for assigned building on large automotive campus and oversee Group Leaders.The Maintenance Manager is responsible for developing and executing service solutions to meet customer needs and tastes. MUST have union experience.JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Lead, mentor, engage and develop teams to maximize their contributions, including recruiting, assessing, training, coaching and managing performance.
  • Coach employees by creating a shared understanding about what needs to be achieved and how to execute. Reward and recognize employees.
  • Develop and maintain effective client and customer rapport for mutually beneficial business relationship. Demonstrate excellent customer service using company standard model.
  • Identify client needs and effectively communicate operational progress.
  • Ensure the completion and maintenance of P&L statements.
  • Deliver client and company financial targets
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for clients, customers and employees.
  • Comply with all applicable policies, rules and regulations, including but not limited to those relating to safety, health, wage and hour.
QUALIFICATIONS
  • Bachelor's degree level education highly preferred in an area of Facilities, or Business Management.
  • Meaningful experience in service industry or contract services, including managing teams.
  • Strong analytical, project planning, and financial management skills.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with clients, customers, colleagues and staff.
  • Must be able to stand for extended periods of time.
