Our Client, an AV Manufacturing company, is looking for an Occupancy Planner for their Foster City, CA location.Responsibilities:
  • Provide tactical occupancy planning to support efficient space utilization across multiple sites, including stack plans, block plans, and scenario planning.
  • Support internal move/add/change activities and large-scale reshuffles by coordinating logistics, migration schedules, and occupancy data updates.
  • Partner with business units, facilities, and project teams to understand headcount forecasts, space needs, and upcoming initiatives.
  • Maintain accurate space data using CAFM and other tools; generate occupancy and utilization reports to guide planning decisions.
  • Promote and implement space policies, workplace standards, and occupancy guidelines to ensure consistency and alignment across teams.
  • Analyze occupancy challenges, identify inefficiencies, and recommend solutions that support operational goals and cost savings.
  • Act as the point of contact for Office Space software; ensure floorplans are accurate and updated to reflect current as-builts.
Requirements:
  • 6+ years of Space Planning experience in a commercial office setting.
  • Intermediate/advanced skills in Microsoft Office and Google Suite
  • Advanced AutoCAD and Space management/CAFM software skills
  • Ability to produce graphic charts and diagrams for visual display of quantitative and qualitative information
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and interface with cross-functional teams
  • Self-directed and can balance multiple projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations.
  • Familiarization with space planning in maximum capacity situations
